For Mauro Nasi, architect and partner at CAIREPRO, the world of construction has always been part of everyday life. His father ran a construction company, and building was literally part of the family home: the house he grew up in was built by the family, brick by brick.
Joining CAIREPRO gave that story an even deeper meaning, when he discovered that the Mogadishu Hospital, where his father had worked, had been designed by the firm.
Since 1990, Mauro has focused mainly on healthcare and social-care design, contributing to highly complex projects such as the detailed design of CORE – the Oncology and Haematology Centre – and the reorganisation of the provincial hospital network in Reggio Emilia.
