Réalités Sénégal in Reggio Emilia

During the stay in Italy of Amadou Dieng and Pape Abdou Dia, General Manager and Technical Director of Réalités Sénégal — a real estate development company active in West Africa — several meetings were held with partners and suppliers involved in ongoing real estate projects.

The visit also included Reggio Emilia, where CAIREPRO has its roots. Together with Fondazione E35 and Centro Interculturale Mondinsieme, the directors visited the Sala del Tricolore of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia, the symbolic birthplace of the Italian flag, to gain a closer understanding of part of the city’s history.

In international projects, gaining knowledge of the territories of the partners involved is essential to better understand contexts, needs and ways of working. This same approach has guided the relationship with Réalités Sénégal, a partner since 2022, for which CAIREPRO and CAIREAFRICA have designed several residential complexes in Dakar.

New projects and a growing team

The CAIREPRO newsletter is a space dedicated to the work taking shape every day: projects, the people who make them possible, and the paths that support the ongoing development of the firm.

In this second issue, the focus is on CAIREpeople, the format that gives voice to CAIREPRO professionals and explores what it means to work with the complexity of design.

The newsletter also shares the progress of the Fiorano Modenese Hospice, now in its operational phase, and presents new opportunities within the design teams, as CAIREPRO continues to grow and strengthen its structure.

An opportunity to take a closer look at the skills, responsibilities and vision that guide CAIREPRO’s work.

Two new projects launch CAIREPRO’s 2026

The new year begins with the award of two new public contracts, relating to projects in the education and energy sectors.

In Racconigi, in the province of Cuneo, CAIREPRO will oversee the full design process for the new “Salvo D’Acquisto” nursery school, from architecture and building services to urban infrastructure works and the furniture proposal.

In Livorno, as part of a consortium with Alfa Solutions, the firm will develop the detailed design of photovoltaic systems for ASA SpA, within a broader strategy aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.

As Architect Giulio Zanni, Head of the Tender Office, notes: “These new assignments mark a stimulating start to the year and confirm the quality of the work carried out by the tender team. Seeing this recognised is a real source of satisfaction.”

Environmental Management System: CAIREPRO obtains certification

CAIREPRO has obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for its Environmental Management System.

The standard confirms the adoption of an organisational model that integrates the management of environmental aspects into the firm’s working, coordination and control processes, applying verifiable and measurable criteria to support technical and organisational decision-making.

As Gabriele Zambelli, Safety Designer and Certification Manager, states: “This certification marks an important step: it confirms the strength of our design approach and reinforces the commitment to managing, with awareness, the environmental aspects connected with every activity carried out by the firm.”

Certification issued by PCQ Srl.
