University dining and shared spaces

The project concerns the architectural design of a university dining facility intended to serve approximately 1.000 students across two meal shifts. The building is arranged over two levels, ground floor and first floor, with a total area of approximately 2.290 sqm.

Its rectangular layout is organised around a landscaped internal courtyard, which enhances the quality of the shared spaces.

Functional organisation and architectural language

The interior includes a dining hall, kitchen and storage areas, arranged to support efficient food service and manage student flows effectively.

The building is defined by projecting volumes, brick screening elements and an interplay of solid and open surfaces that filters natural light and supports natural ventilation. The pitched roof, with its articulated geometry, strengthens the building’s identity within the campus.
