Sports Facilities
The project concerns the redevelopment of the Puianello Sports Centre, in the Municipality of Quattro Castella, with the design of a new building for the football pitch changing rooms and the upgrading of the facility to current regulations on safety, fire prevention and accessibility.
The redevelopment also includes the spectator area, with a seismic vulnerability assessment of the existing stands, a new fence, an accessible pedestrian route and the upgrading of the electrical system serving the floodlight towers.
The building was designed to meet NZEB standards, adopting solutions focused on energy efficiency and the use of renewable sources. The new building has a reinforced concrete structure with external thermal insulation and integrates photovoltaic panels, solar thermal panels, a rainwater harvesting system used to supply the toilet facilities, controlled mechanical ventilation and high-efficiency plumbing systems.
The architectural and structural design was developed in a BIM environment, improving coordination between disciplines and control over the different design phases.
