Born in Reggio Emilia to a Calabrian family, he grew up on construction sites alongside his father, a builder. This experience instilled a respect for manual work and an ability to engage with those involved in construction—elements that continue to shape his design approach.

After graduating in engineering, he worked on the development of CMP structural analysis software as a technical assistant, strengthening his expertise in seismic vulnerability. He joined CAIREPRO in 2012, where he focuses on structural design, and became a partner in 2019.
