Redevelopment of the athletics Facility
The redevelopment of the Dario Lucchini Training Stadium will provide Bologna with a modern athletics facility, designed to host competitions and sports events once again.
The 400-metre track has been expanded from six to eight lanes and includes the 100-metre straight, together with the areas dedicated to jumping and throwing disciplines. The facility has been configured to obtain FIDAL certification, by the Italian Athletics Federation, placing it among the few athletics venues in Emilia-Romagna with these characteristics.
Stands, services and outdoor areas
The historic stand has been upgraded and complemented by a second structure designed in continuity with the existing one, bringing the overall capacity to 754 seats.
The project also includes changing rooms, an infirmary, technical rooms, parking areas and outdoor works, organised to improve the functionality, accessibility and use of the entire facility.
Management of the construction phase
The execution phase is being followed through construction supervision and safety coordination. The activities also include fire prevention and operational supervision of the mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring coordinated control of the different works on site.
