Urban tower in Dakar plateau

The Éclat de Dakar project concerns the design of a tower in the Plateau district, the main business centre of Dakarl. The project was developed to define a contemporary architecture able to integrate with the urban context in a balanced way.

The architectural layout is based on the combination of two identical volumes rotated in relation to each other. This solution allows the building to adapt to the shape of the plot and creates a clear, recognisable composition.

Facade, light and relationship with the outdoor space

The project includes a transparent base extending across the ground floor and mezzanine, conceived as a space connected to the urban environment. The glass surfaces are protected by terracotta brise-soleil, which help control solar exposure and improve comfort inside the building. This part of the building accommodates co-working areas and retail spaces.

The facade is defined by glazed surfaces that reflect light and create a vertical chromatic variation, with darker tones at the base gradually becoming lighter towards the top.
