2026 -
Retail and Offices, Residential
The project concerns the renovation and upgrading of the Guido Moretti Municipal Cinema-Theatre in Pietra Ligure, a 1950s building affected by a long period of deterioration. The works involve the entire complex, including structural and building works, together with a reorganisation of spaces and routes to adapt the facility to current uses and regulations.
The auditorium was redesigned through the reshaping of the stalls and balconies, with a revised seating layout and a new stepped geometry developed to improve visibility and usability. The stage areas were also reorganised, with the recovery of the stage and understage areas, the enlargement of the dressing rooms and the introduction of a new stair core.
The project includes the reconfiguration of the stage areas and the renewal of cinema and theatre equipment, together with the refurbishment of electrical and mechanical systems and toilet facilities.
The building envelope was also restored, with the renovation of facades and windows. The inclined glazed facade was reinterpreted through a continuous system of rectangular modules, while a barrel roof completes the elevation, preserving the recognisable features of the original architecture.
