Public Spaces, Places of Worship, Museums and Exhibition Spaces
The San Cirillo Alessandrino parish complex was designed to organise clearly and functionally the different spaces dedicated to religious and community activities. The layout is based on establishing a strong relationship between the congregation and the liturgical focal points, ensuring visibility and participation during celebrations.
Particular attention was also given to the relationship with the urban context, with the aim of making the church a recognisable presence within the neighbourhood.
The church is the central element of the complex and is defined by a monumental stone-clad portal. The interior features a timber-beam ceiling and a dome roof clad in zinc-titanium shingles. The plan is based on a square layout, while the ancillary buildings are organised as simple rectilinear volumes.
The complex is composed of four distinct buildings: the church; the parish offices with sacristy; the classroom block for catechism, with the parish house on the first floor; and the parish hall with spaces dedicated to Caritas activities.
