Expansion of the logistics system
At the Barilla production site in Foggia, a logistics expansion has been completed to support the existing facility, with the construction of a new high-tech automated warehouse for product storage.
The project was developed to improve internal flows and increase the efficiency of handling and logistics operations, while reducing operational time and energy consumption.
New shipping building
Alongside the storage warehouse, a second building was constructed for shipping activities, designed to separate and optimise the different phases of logistics within the production site.
The project included structural and building systems design for the new facilities, as well as safety coordination during the design phase.
