Industry and Logistics
The project concerned the expansion of La Linea Verde’s production site in Manerbio, part of a leading group in the production of fresh, ready-to-eat fruit and vegetable products, known for the Dimmi di Sì brand. The project included architectural, structural and building systems design for the extension of the existing complex, with the aim of increasing its logistics and production capacity.
The expansion is part of a three-phase plan, developed in a coordinated way to ensure operational continuity and functional integration with the existing facility.
The expansion is organised into three main buildings, each with a specific function and integrated within the overall production system.
The first phase involved the construction of the logistics building, including a refrigerated warehouse, offices arranged over two levels and an underground car park for employees and visitors.
The second building is dedicated to production, with spaces designed to maintain controlled and constant temperatures throughout the processing cycle. The third building houses the storage warehouse, while the connecting volume between the different parts of the complex accommodates the refrigeration systems on the roof, ensuring temperature control in transit and processing areas.
The project was developed in BIM, coordinating architecture, structures and building systems within a single digital model. Particular attention was given to the compatibility between production needs, hygiene and health requirements, and temperature control.
The construction phase was managed through supervision of structural and building systems works, ensuring consistency between design and construction and technical control throughout the site phases.
Design of the production site expansion in BIM, with coordinated integration of architecture, structures and building systems.
Organisation of the complex into separate buildings for logistics, temperature-controlled production and storage.
Construction supervision for structural and building systems works, ensuring consistency between design and construction.
