Industry and Logistics
The project involved the renovation and expansion of the Barilla production plant located along the A15 Parma–La Spezia motorway corridor. The site is dedicated to the production and packaging of food products, with integrated production lines and storage systems.
The works included the adaptation of the existing complex, with the aim of increasing production capacity and improving the overall organisation of the plant.
The project involved the expansion of the packaging lines, the silo tower and the new office head building. The new building sections were constructed using prefabricated systems, with the main volumes finished in painted aluminium cladding, in continuity with the industrial character of the plant.
At the same time, the internal systems were renewed, with particular attention to hydraulic and electrical networks and to the upgrading of components connected to the production lines, improving operational performance and functionality.
The project development integrated structural, building systems and organisational aspects to ensure operational continuity and the quality of the works. The construction phase was supported by coordinated site management focused on safety and on the transformation of the production facility.
