Industry and Logistics
The project involved the renovation and expansion of the Sensient Food Colors Italy facility, which specialises in the production of food colourings. It was developed to increase the site’s operational capacity and improve the organisation of its internal activities.
The works included the refurbishment of part of the existing building, the construction of a new volume for processing lines and a new office building for technical and administrative staff.
The internal layout was reorganised through the addition of a new laboratory, storage areas and production lines, improving the efficiency of production, packaging and shipping activities.
The new buildings were constructed using prefabricated reinforced concrete structures, in line with the technical and operational requirements of the facility. Functional, technical and architectural aspects were developed in an integrated way, supporting the evolution of the plant and enhancing its overall identity.
The project also included the reorganisation of the external areas, with the relocation of services and underground utilities to rationalise circulation and accommodate the new building volumes.
The complementary works included a stormwater retention basin, improving the site’s drainage infrastructure and overall operation.
