Redevelopment of the urban road network

The project involved the redevelopment of approximately 600 metres of urban road network in Campogalliano (Modena), as part of the works connected to the high-speed rail system. The project included the reorganisation of two intersections through the construction of new roundabouts, with the aim of improving safety, increasing traffic flow and upgrading the surrounding public spaces.

Continuity of routes and structural design

The works included the construction of a cycle and pedestrian underpass, ensuring continuity between the northern area and the residential district to the south, while separating pedestrian and cycle routes from vehicle traffic.

From a structural point of view, the underpass and its ramps were designed as a single waterproof body, capable of resisting hydrostatic pressure and ensuring protection against groundwater.
