Concept for a new corporate campus

The architectural concept was developed for the Max Mara Fashion Group headquarters in the northern area of Reggio Emilia and was selected for the second stage of the competition. The proposal envisions the complex as a corporate campus set within a landscaped environment, organised through a modular grid that supports functional connections, flexibility and high-quality outdoor spaces.

The masterplan was designed to accommodate future expansion while maintaining a balanced relationship between buildings, circulation routes and green areas.

Functional organisation and spatial flexibility

The complex is composed of two buildings connected by a system of horizontal and vertical connections that defines the main entrance.

The internal layout responds to the company’s different activities. Spaces for the creative departments are located mainly on the ground floors, benefiting from natural light and direct access to internal courtyards used for prototyping and product development.

The upper levels accommodate showrooms and meeting rooms. The showroom is designed as a flexible space that can be reconfigured through movable partitions, allowing different layouts or a single large exhibition area.
