Organisation of squares, routes and parking areas

The project involved the redevelopment of public spaces in the historic centre of Calcinelli (Pesaro and Urbino), including parking areas, pedestrian and vehicular routes, and the space in front of the Town Hall.

The design reorganised the urban space through new paving, improving continuity, accessibility and the overall quality of shared public areas.

Materials and urban furniture

The paving was mainly completed in porphyry setts, with Trani stone kerbs and Levocell surfacing in the area facing the Town Hall. Raised pedestrian crossings improve safety, while stone seating, a monolithic Corten steel fountain and a new lighting system complete the urban furniture design.

Particular attention was given to preserving the existing trees and enhancing the open spaces.

The works also included the renovation of a section of the water supply network, integrating infrastructure upgrades with the redevelopment of the urban surface to improve the functionality and durability of the entire system.
